Schizm is an adventure video game genre Detalion and LK Avalon prepared and published by DreamCatcher Games.
The game of the Myst series of games before ( remind all, Riven) in that the environment is very realistic and in exceptionally high level of detail of the graphics. Movement and interaction in the game is very similar to the Myst games. The background sounds are realistic and dynamic (eg traces of change as a character walks on various surfaces like metal and stone, echo, and if within ) of tunnels. The background music is very atmospheric and very impressive.
An important feature of Schizm is that the player controls between the two figures can switch at any time period. There are puzzles that use both characters as performing actions at the same time, before they can be resolved.
The game based on 5 CDs or a DVD. The CD version does not all the puzzles that appeared in the DVD version and also lacks some of the background story.
A sequel released was, Mysterious Journey II, but the two plots did not appear to connect.
Sam and Hannah are piloting a spaceship carrying out deliveries to a scientific Expedition on the planet Argilus. Arrival on the planet, they lose control of the ship and are forced to leave in escape pods.
The two are at separated this point and are on a seemingly uninhabited planet – Sam goes to an antenna "city" balloons tied together, or airships. Hannah can be found in a city on a large, free-floating islands built. The two characters are not initially able to communicate, but do it later when they are in the same coming area.
The aim is to both characters of the zone Matia, the solution of the (sometimes very difficult) to learn the strange mystery Argilan will get to work reaching technology.
