Not sure what happened to me in this matter, but it seems like the more I hear, the better Happy Woman Blues. Happy Woman Blues Lucinda stated simply one of the Williams's best CDs to date.
Unfortunately, it is not every day that I have a CD from an artist, I can hear easily and comfortably in pop, from the beginning to Get to the end. There is usually one or two songs that I just can not make me get through. Absolutely not the case with Happy Woman Blues. Every track is enjoyable and was very easy for me to listen to from beginning to end.
One of the nicer things about a CD like this is when the talent of this rich, though not rock is your favorite style you still can not be helped, but appreciate the greatness of the artist.
If you're a fan or Lucinda Williams just a fan of rock music, this is a CD your collection simply should not be without.
While the whole album is really very good, the melodies are really outstanding Track 4 – Happy Woman Blues, track 7 – One Night Stand, and track 11 – Sharp Cutting Wings.
My Bonus Pick, and those who Sore [... as in "stuck on repeat "] Is track 1 – Lafayette. Wow!
