When I think of German engineers, I always get a picture in my head of a group of stuffy, wear a lab coat, clipboard possession, nerds over-analytical. Regardless by the fact that if this is true or not, I love your cars. So in that sense, this time I'll draw a vehicle that is a symbol for more than 10 years have been is. Today it is the Audi TT.
Well, I absolutely love Audi, therefore in a position to the efforts of the TT is an absolute treat for me. First off, let's take a Look at the concept. Although it does not look terribly different than you can imagine, there are some small changes, such as the Bi-Xenon headlights with Audi badge LED daytime running lights (which are useless, but looks awesome), and larger air intakes in the front. Sill up a larger and aggressive rear bumper integrates the two double exhaust in the back.
The interior is well, small. I think Audi has two seats for the back, but there is no way to as you correctly adjust the rear when they have no legs. When the front, there is plenty of room ….. for your legs. Moreover, it comes with a handsome aluminum trim, but robust soft leather seats and a total of looking for a modern design. All the controls are within your reach and easy to use, except the navigation system, I had a little problem with. However, it comes with Audi's Multi Media Interface (MMI) that you are in the ad audio controls, and adds several steps to perform simple tasks like changing the radio station. MMI might appeal to the geeks of the world, but with buttons work better in the long run. We have the steering wheel, that is, if you notice, flat on the floor. The reason is, without him it would be extremely difficult on entry and exit through the narrow fit.
Under the hood, I'm going now comes with the 3.2-liter V6 engine, 250 Hp and 236 outputs ft.-lb. Torque. Fuel starts at 17 mpg city and 24 mpg, which is not so bad actually. Other versions are available, the 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, 200 hp and 207 outputs ft.-lb. Torque and the top model of the TTS with a slightly tuned V6 engine that has 265hp you. It also comes with Adaptive Variable Suspension Audi holds the front-wheel drive TT on the road.
Now, let us talk about how this started to be treated if. The city is wonderful. The sport suspension is hard, but not until to the point where your ass how you feel overly went through a round of boxing with Danny Jacobs. It is also very quiet and surprisingly good speed in the position if necessary. On the highway, it takes very nice. Although it is not incredibly fast, as it accelerates well enough to leave the people who try to follow you. Plus the sound of the 3.2-liter V6 engine is just fantastic. Now, the U.S. governors on these vehicles, limiting it to 130mph. Although I was not so fast, I start close enough, people think I was being chased by the police (about 120mph). Pulling off the highway and on the highways, treating them well in high speed around the corner. It must be with the fact Audi, if that vehicle are developed, they made it so it is very well balanced in the front and rear axles. Together with Audi adaptive suspension, it is just excellent throughout You go.
So, overall I have to give the car a thumbs up in my book. However, when I say that is my biggest disappointment is to the engine. I, a little more of Superior engines from Audi expected, especially from a V6. Why could not they charged that decency and give it a good 300hp, together with the TTS with even more?
The one day I went for a price of $ 37,200, but the lineup of the Audi TT to come between $ 35,200 – $ 46,540. In my opinion, to get one, because driving is a lot of fun.
