What's the best show on TV: Lost, 24, or Mad Men?
Lost and 24 really the two best shows on TV right now? (A twenty-second pause while you are thinking that.)
Welcome back! I would definitely put Lost in the "best" category. I do not know if it's the best, but it is certainly in the top-5. I can not for 24 speak, because I have not seen that much of it (though not me) to have your say fans. But USA Today Robert Biancosays who lost and are 24 the two best shows on television.
Of course we can talk about all day long about what "best" and what "favorite." I'm sure we can all agree that all three of these shows are good and it probably does not matter which is better than the other. I find it rather interesting that Lost and 24 as mentioned are the best, without even to mention to Mad Men AMC. Or 30 Rock for that matter. He does not know to say that Lost and 24 are the best dramas, he says the best show period.

From JJ Abrams, the creator Alias, and Damon Lindelof (Crossing Jordan) comes an arcade style adventure, which bring you the best and worst in people who are lost.
From the darkness, the first thing Jack (Matthew Fox, Party of Five) senses is pain. Then burning sun. A Bamboo forest. Smoke. Screams. With a rush comes the horrible realization that the airplane he was on tore apart in the air and crashed on an island in the Pacific. From there it is blurry as his doctor instinct kicks in: people need his help.
Everything Stripped, Cleanup of the 48 survivors, what they can from the plane for their survival. Some panic. Some are pinning their hopes on rescue. A few find inner strength they never had had – like Kate (Evangeline Lilly), which, without medical training, suddenly finds himself suturing the doctor's wounds. Hurley (Jorge Garcia) – a man with a warm Sense of humor despite the desperate situation – does his best to keep a cool head as he helps his environment to survive. Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) is a rock star, fading conceals a painful secret. Sayid (Naveen Andrews) is a man who must fight in the Middle East, to racial profiling against him by some of his fellow survivors. Jin (Daniel Dae Kim) and Sun (Yunjin Kim) are a Korean couple whose traditions, values and language are foreign and thus causes go much lost in translation.
Sawyer (Josh Holloway) has an air of danger surrounding him, and his intense sense of mistrust for everyone around him could prove fatal for his fellow castaways. Michael (Harold Perrineau) has just won custody of his nine years old son, Walt (Malcolm David Kelley), after the death of his ex-wife – They are a father and son, not even knowing each other. Locke (Terry O'Quinn) is a mysterious man who considers himself, and who harbors a deeper connection on the island than anyone else. And self-centered Shannon (Maggie Grace) – who actually gives a pedicure in the chaos – and her estranged controlling brother, Boone (Ian Somerhalder) – Constantly fighting and must learn to get along, if they are to survive.
The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But the island holds many secrets, including the intense howls of the mysterious creatures stalking the jungle, they meet all with fear. Fortunately, thanks to the calm leadership of quick-thinking Jack and level-headed Kate, they have hope. But even heroes have their Secrets, as the survivors will come to learn
