Other Side of the Bed $11.36 Sex, love, lies, bed-hopping and mistaken identities abound in this pop musical-comedy set in Madrid. The gorgeous Paula (Natalia Verbeke) breaks up with perpetually glum Pedro (Guillermo Toledo) in order to take her affair with Javier (Ernesto Alterio) to the next level. The immature Javier however, is unwilling to break up with Sonia (SEX Y LUCIA star Paz Vega) or confess their affair to Pedro, who happens to be his best friend. Things get worse when Pedro hires a private detective to find out who Paula is sleeping with, and Javier tries to absolve his guilt by finding him a new girlfriend among his own exes. When Javier and Sonia go off on their own for a romantic weekend, Sonia and Pedro get together to comfort one another, and more complications ensue. Director Martínez-Lázaro sets the comedy, angst, and sexuality to a frothy boil in this crowd-pleaser; it was a big hit in his native Spain. For fans of bedroom-hopping farce and goofy, high-spirited Latin rock musical numbers, this will undoubtedly prove a lot of fun. Vega and Verbeke are amazingly lovely and Maria Eleve is fun as a much-too-talkative girl in love with Pedro. Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica is home to the loudest monkeys in the world. The common name is howler but the locals call it "congos." This particular subspecies, there are only in and around Manuel Antonio National Park and the estimated population is a mere 1300-1800. What makes it unique is its peaceful nature. Neither men nor women seem to be dominant over another, while the other subspecies of squirrel monkeys dispute at regular intervals. As the Capuchins, red-backed squirrel monkey live on a diet of fruits, insects, leaves and stems. Often, to play on our roof, and sometimes mate on our patio table.
An important Question is with monkeys in Manuel Antonio that tourists feed them. Once I saw a tourist-a hand potato chips, a Capuchin. The Capuchins struck his hand, tore The bag of chips and ran into a tree. Apart from being outsmarted by a monkey, this is wrong on so many levels. Irregular feeding monkeys, make aggressive against humans, as they search for food. Recently, after my daughter and a friend had souvenir shopping a Capuchin-off trying to find out their pockets no doubt provided that there was food inside. Feeding monkeys disrupts their normal foraging patterns as they circle over the "simple" food. Now I am not so say you will hunt monkeys in the city, this was a highly unusual situation, but why forage for food when someone they will deliver?
Feeding Monkeys can also be deadly to them. Humans can transmit diseases from the hands of monkeys who have no immunity. Although there are educational programs in this location remains a problem. Unaware tourists come every day. Sometimes they see others feeding the monkeys, and think it's all right. Why not part of the solution?
Now that you know, feeding the monkeys is bad for them, how to find you when you visit densely wooded Manuel Antonio? They can often be found on the beach dusk, when it nests around the head for their favorite trees for the night. You can found in the hills near to your hotel or holiday home will. What Howlers, well, there is no room for doubt. Their thunderous sounds will rock your world – literally.
